Share God's love!
We hope you enjoy our reminders of Christ for your home and teaching ministry.
Mustard Seed Training is much more than learning materials! Join our community of parents, catechists, woodworkers, and other makers using our talents for the glory of God. Our materials are designed for use with Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS), a Montessori-based form of religious education. They can be used anywhere you are teaching prayer and worship.

Mustard Seed Training was founded in 2018 by Meagen Farrell Howe, a catechist certified in levels I & II of Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS). Meagen earned her BA in Religion from Oberlin College, and MA in Theology and Religious Studies from John Carroll University. After helping get CGS atria started in 3 different congregations in rural Ashtabula County, Ohio, Meagen responded to the call to share her materials with other catechists looking to get started.
She has recruited other local, faith-filled makers to share their wares for the good of the Kingdom:
-Seamstress Ann Marie Darby
-Woodworker David Gildersleeve
