Care for Creation

Mustard Seed Training is committed to care for our common home as one of the Corporal Works of Mercy.

Your packing materials are reusable or recyclable.

Mustard Seed Training started shipping in March 2019 by reusing donated materials from individuals and organizations. Our organization has grown, enabling us to make bulk purchasing decisions and increase our partnership with EcoEnclose for sustainable packaging.

We try to purchase supplies from vendors that provide recycled, recyclable, reusable, and/or compostable shipping materials. These include:

  • Shipping-weight cardboard boxes
  • Recycled/recyclable paper, folders, and stickers
  • #2 or #4 bioplastic bags for store drop-off
  • Please note that some dioramas are packaged with film that may not be recyclable in all areas

Please reuse or recycle your packaging!

Your delivery is carbon neutral.

We love providing materials for catechists and parents around the U.S. and the world! However, delivering your materials has a carbon footprint. That's why we support cutting-edge companies that remove carbon from the air.

Here's how it works: For every order Mustard Seed Training receives, Shopify's Planet app uses a formula to calculate the estimated shipping emissions. Based on those estimates, a portion of our revenue goes to carbon removal companies that have been vetted by scientists from Carbon Direct. This usually costs between $0.035 and $0.15 (US Dollars) per order and adds no cost to you, our customers. The companies funded through Shopify's Planet App use that money to remove however much carbon our shipments created. Any extra funds go toward the further development of carbon removal technologies.

Let's meet a few of the companies removing carbon from the sky.
