These delightful wooden Nativity figures bring the joy of the Incarnation to your home, atrium, or workplace in every season.
Simplest shapes of wood are transformed into Joseph and Mary cradling Baby Jesus with a piece of twine to suggest their bond of closeness. Figures are cut from one piece or permanently glued together, except the twine.
Choose a "unique" set for one-of-a-kind variations such as knots or rough edges that allow the natural wood features to shine. We will surprise you with a special creation that is sure to delight.
Per Catechesis of the Good Shepherd guidelines:
- Figures are sold unpainted. You can add your own colors or finishing touches if you choose (photo provided as example).
- Figures can be used for the Infancy Narratives, as a prayer table statue during Advent and Christmas, or as a personal decoration anywhere you want to remember the joy of Christ's birth.
Each set is handcrafted by woodworker David Gildersleeve in his home workshop in rural Ashtabula County, Ohio. Your Nativity figures should not fall apart, but if they ever do or are less than satisfactory, David provides a lifetime guarantee... limited to his lifetime!
